Iacopo Briano

Iacopo Briano is a curator and natural history expert at Art Zoo Museum Amsterdam. Since 2002, he has specialized in fossils and natural wonders, creating Wunderkammer-inspired collections that unite art and science. He is a member of AAPS (Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences), CEDEA (Confédération Européenne Des Experts d'Art), SFEP (Syndicat Français des Experts Professionnels) and has overseen several record-breaking fossil auctions in Europe.

Thim Fielmich

Collection specialist at Art Zoo Museum.

Thim is the Collection Specialist at Art Zoo musuem, overseeing the care and presentation of artworks by Darwin, Sinke, and Van Tongeren.

He also works at Naturalis Biodiversity Center, where he takes care of the collection and assists in the Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam.

ORGANISATION

Art Zoo Museum is a private museum. It was established on the initiative of the Vrije Academie, in collaboration with the artistic collective Darwin, Sinke & Van Tongeren. For 35 years, Vrije Academie has been making art and culture accessible to the general public through its courses, lectures and trips, and is active throughout the Netherlands.
