TICKETS

Yes, you can purchase tickets at the museum reception desk. We only accept digital payments. However, please note that tickets for specific time slots may already be sold out online.

No, this isn't necessary, but you're welcome to do so. You can also show your tickets digitally.

Tickets purchased through our website can be easily changed online. Please follow the instructions at https://tickets.artzoo.com/en/ticketsupport

First, please check if your payment was successful and the amount has been debited from your account.
The email might have gone to your junk mail, spam folder or another email folder. Tip: search for "Globalticket" or "Global Ticket" in your email. If you still cannot find the email containing your tickets, please contact us at mail@artzoo.com

Tickets cannot be cancelled. However, you can change the date and time of your ticket up to 24 hours before your visit. If you purchased your ticket through another vendor rather than through our website, their terms and conditions for ticket changes will apply.

Yes, Art Zoo Museum offers a discount on admission to cardholders of these cards when shown together with your e-ticket at entry.

Yes, children under 6 also need a reservation. The ticket is free.

No discount is available for over-65s.

Yes, you can - admission is free with presentation of your Stadspas.

You can enter up to 15 minutes after your scheduled time slot. Later entry may be possible if there is sufficient availability in the adjecent time slot.
VISITING THE MUSEUM

A visit takes between 45 minutes and one hour.

Yes, there is a cloakroom where you can store coats, bags and umbrellas. Bags larger than A4 size and umbrellas are not permitted in the museum.

No, pets are not permitted in the museum. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.

Yes, photography for personal use is permitted in the museum. Flash photography is not allowed.

The museum makes for a suitable family outing. However, we ask that you supervise children closely and ensure they never touch the artworks.

Yes, the museum has Bar Vasari where you can order drinks and light refreshments.

Yes, but please be aware that the museum has several staircases and narrow spaces where access with a pushchair may be difficult or impossible without assistance.

Although Art Zoo is filled with animals, it is not a zoo in the traditional sense. All animals in Art Zoo Museum are preserved specimens, displayed as artworks. Art Zoo is, quite literally, an artistic zoo.

TOEGANKELIJKHEID
Due to the restrictions of our historic building, there are unfortunately limitations for visitors with reduced mobility.
The museum is not wheelchair accessible.
At Art Zoo Museum, (short) flights of stairs lead to the main entrance and between exhibition spaces. The bar is also only accessible via a short staircase. Therefore, for a comfortable visit, you must be able to manage stairs (at least a few steps).

VENUE HIRE & CATERING
Our venue offers:
Various meeting and presentation spaces of different sizes (up to 120 people). These can be hired for full or half days, with optional extras including museum tours and lunch or drinks receptions in the bar. For enquiries about room hire and catering, please contact planning@vrijeacademie.nl
A bar suitable for lunch and drinks receptions.
A historic courtyard garden.
Art Zoo Museum is not a licensed wedding venue.
