We only accept digital payments at the museum.
To enter the museum, please have your e-ticket scanned at the reception desk.
You may change your ticket time slot up to 24 hours before your visit.
Tickets are non-refundable.

Monday to Sunday, 10:00 - 17:00
Last admission to the museum is at 16:30.
Art Zoo Museum is closed on December 25th (Christmas Day),
January 1st (New Year's Day) and April 27th (King's Day).
Art Zoo Museum is open on all other Dutch public holidays.

We are easily accessible by public transport. The nearest stop is Amsterdam Koningsplein, just a few minutes' walk away.
The museum is a 10-minute tram ride from Central Station. Take tram 2 or 12 to Amsterdam Koningsplein stop.
BY BIKE:
We are easily accessible by bike (including rental bikes).
Please note that bicycle parking around our location is limited.
BY CAR:
Art Zoo Museum does not have its own parking facilities. (Paid) street parking along the canal is possible but challenging.

Entering and exiting the garage is easy with license plate recognition. No need to stop at a payment machine afterwards. That way, you’ll have more time to enjoy your visit to the Art Zoo Museum.
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
Due to the restrictions of our historic building, there are unfortunately some limitations for individuals with mobility impairments.
The museum is not wheelchair accessible.
At Art Zoo Museum, (short) stairs lead you to the main entrance and from one exhibition space to another. The bar is also accessible only via a short flight of stairs. Therefore, for a pleasant visit, it is necessary to be able to manage (a few steps) up and down stairs.

PRIVATE TOURS
Private guided tours of Art Zoo Museum are available. Our educators guide you through the museum, sharing the stories behind the artworks — from the discoveries of explorers past and present to surprising details, creative processes, Darwin’s theory of evolution, and the complex relationship between humans and animals.
The tour is interactive and tailored to the group, sparking curiosity and a sense of wonder.

Our venue offers:
Various meeting and presentation spaces of different sizes (up to 120 people). These can be hired for full or half days, with optional extras including museum tours and lunch or drinks receptions in the bar. For enquiries about room hire and catering, please contact events@artzoo.com

Art Zoo Museum is not a licensed wedding venue.
HOUSE RULES
To maintain the collection and the unique atmosphere of the museum, we kindly ask visitors to adhere to the following house rules:
✔ Touching the artworks is not allowed.
✔ Photography is permitted for personal use, but without flash.
✔ Large bags and backpacks are not allowed inside; small bags are permitted. Lockers are available.
✔ Eating and drinking are not allowed in the exhibition spaces.
✔ Smoking is not permitted in the museum.
✔ Children up to 13 years old must always be accompanied by an adult.
✔ Pets are not allowed.
