OPENING HOURS

The museum is open from Monday to Sunday, 10:00 - 17:00

Last admission to the museum is at 16:30.

Art Zoo Museum is always closed on December 25th (Christmas Day),
January 1st (New Year's Day) and April 27th (King's Day).
Art Zoo Museum is open on all other Dutch public holidays.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

We are easily accessible by public transport. The nearest stop is Amsterdam Koningsplein, just a few minutes' walk away.

The museum is a 10-minute tram ride from Central Station. Take tram 2 or 12 to Amsterdam Koningsplein stop. 



BY BIKE:

We are easily accessible by bike (including rental bikes).

Please note that bicycle parking around our location is limited.



BY CAR:

Art Zoo Museum does not have its own parking facilities. (Paid) street parking along the canal is possible but challenging.

You can also park at nearby car parks such as:

Want to be sure of a parking spot? Reserve in advance!

Entering and exiting the garage is easy with license plate recognition. No need to stop at a payment machine afterwards. That way, you’ll have more time to enjoy your visit to the Art Zoo Museum.



ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION


Due to the restrictions of our historic building, there are unfortunately some limitations for individuals with mobility impairments.

  • The museum is not wheelchair accessible.

  • At Art Zoo Museum, (short) stairs lead you to the main entrance and from one exhibition space to another. The bar is also accessible only via a short flight of stairs. Therefore, for a pleasant visit, it is necessary to be able to manage (a few steps) up and down stairs.


HOUSE RULES


To maintain the collection and the unique atmosphere of the museum, we kindly ask visitors to adhere to the following house rules:

✔ Touching the artworks is not allowed.

✔ Photography is permitted for personal use, but without flash.

✔ Large bags and backpacks are not allowed inside; small bags are permitted. Lockers are available.

✔ Eating and drinking are not allowed in the exhibition spaces.

✔ Smoking is not permitted in the museum.

✔ Children up to 13 years old must always be accompanied by an adult.

✔ Pets are not allowed.
