EDUCATION IN ART ZOO

Art Zoo Museum is a much talked-about, new and unique art museum in the heart of Amsterdam, housed in one of the city's most beautiful 17th-century canal houses.

The museum is an artistic ode to nature that evokes wonder and awareness of the beauty and vulnerability of the animal world. In Art Zoo Museum, animals are in charge and visitors are their guests. The roles between humans and animals have been reversed.

Education at Art Zoo Museum is provided in collaboration with initiator and education partner Vrije Academie in Art, Culture and science.

In addition to various lecture rooms and its own workshop atelier, the Art Zoo Museum building also features a magnificent historic garden.

For schools, a visit to Art Zoo Museum is an opportunity to look at nature in a completely different way, but also to learn more about animals, art, science, (art) history, explorers, crafts and creativity. And a place where they can also learn to make art themselves.
